The journal Informatics. Culture. Technology ensures the long-term preservation and open access of published scholarly materials in accordance with the principles of reliable digital archiving and open science.

The journal is published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, which supports integration with modern digital preservation systems and ensures stable storage of publications.

To guarantee the long-term availability of scholarly content, all materials are archived and preserved in:

  • the journal’s database and official website;

  • institutional and subject-specific repositories;

  • national and international digital preservation systems compatible with OJS, including the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

In the event that the journal ceases operations, all published materials will remain accessible through the above-mentioned archival systems, ensuring continuous access to the scholarly record.

The journal supports a self-archiving policy. Authors are permitted to deposit different versions of their works in open repositories and on personal or academic websites:

  • Preprint (before peer review) – at any time;

  • Accepted manuscript (Author’s Accepted Manuscript, AAM) – immediately after acceptance;

  • Published version (Version of Record) – immediately after publication.

There is no embargo period.

When depositing materials in repositories, authors are required to:

  • provide the full bibliographic citation of the publication;

  • include a direct link to the article on the journal’s official website.

All versions of deposited materials must comply with the journal’s licensing terms. Authors are also encouraged to deposit research data in open repositories with DOI assignment to ensure long-term availability and reproducibility of results.
