Article Processing Charges

The journal Informatics. Culture. Technology adheres to the principles of open diamond access, which provides free full access to all published materials for users without any financial, technical, or legal barriers. All articles and journal issues are freely available for reading, downloading, copying, distribution, and use in accordance with the licensing terms.

 

Submission, editorial processing, peer review, and publication of articles are free of charge for all authors, including third-cycle higher education students (Doctor of Philosophy / PhD candidates), regardless of the funding model of their studies or the conditions under which the research was conducted.

 

The journal ensures equal conditions of consideration and peer review for all submitted materials, regardless of the author’s status or the sources of research funding.

The journal Informatics. Culture. Technology follows an open-access model that provides free and immediate access to published research results for readers worldwide without subscription fees.

To support the editorial process, peer-review management, production costs, and long-term digital preservation of publications, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

 

Article processing includes:

• plagiarism screening using the StrikePlagiarism software;
• verification of manuscript formatting in accordance with the journal’s requirements;
• preparation of technical metadata (DOI assignment, preparation for indexing, etc.);
• costs related to the publishing infrastructure (Crossref, hosting, and archiving).
